Frequently Asked Questions

Where are yoga sessions held?

Currently, Yoga in the Park is held at a couple of local parks in Mesa, AZ.  If you are interested but would prefer online sessions, contact me and get added to an Interested List.

What do you specialize in?

I specialize in Vinyasa Yoga with a 500 hour certification.  Currently, I am accredited through Yoga Alliance for my 200 hour certification.  I vary my meditation styles, but popular techniques focus on breath, mantra, Metta, and Tonglen.  Although my coaching technique is labeled Love and Authenticity, I can’t help but feel all that I’ve learned through yoga and meditation training also plays a big role  in my coaching services.

What are the rates of your services?

Yoga in the Park is currently a donation based service, though please visit the Services to learn prices for available services.

What should I bring?

Yoga: Mat, blocks (if you have them), one or two rolled up beach towels can be very helpful, and water.

Meditation: Mat, blanket, or another comfortable surface to sit or lay on.

Coaching Session: You!  Besides bringing awareness, openness, and a desire to look within, it could be helpful to keep a journal of your thoughts and experiences along the way.

Are you certified and insured?

Yes!  With my Love and Authenticity Life Coaching Certification, 500 hour yoga certification,  davidji’s Master of Wisdom and Meditation  Teacher Certification, and many continuing education courses along the way, I am ready to share what I know based on all that I have learned and my experiences!

IYLC is insured.  Please expect to fill out a one time Yoga Release Waiver at the start of your session.

What are your terms and conditions?

Students know their bodies and what they are capable of better than anyone else.  Please listen to your body and seek advice from a medical professional prior to trying any new activity.  Although yoga has some many positive affects on our bodies and minds, it is important that you first know what is safe for you.

Any booked service will require a 24 hour cancel notice.  If appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, a $15 fee will be charged.
